.eibe Play are honoured to be presented with another Green Plaque award for the development of a new natural Play Space at Brocks Hill Country Park, Leicestershire.

The award will be presented to eibe Play on Monday, June 29th at the Hampton Court Palace, London by keen environmentalist Kate O’Mara.

The National Green Plaque Awards are presented annually in recognition of companies, councils and communities carrying out projects that enhance the built environment and have their project included in the National Treasures Guide.

The development of Brocks Hill Play Space focused on the creation of a large central play mound which incorporated a number of pieces of play equipment on a large piece of unused land within the country park directly next to the visitors centre. Natural play features such as boulders, logs and planting were used to enhance and compliment the transition between the natural environment and the play space and its fun, challenging and exciting play equipment.

Paul Redden Managing Director of eibeplay said “this is a tremendous achievement for eibeplay and our design team, they have worked hard to prove that we have the best play space designers in Europe. But more importantly the team at Brocks Hill Country Park who worked hard to secure the funding for this great community Play space should be applauded, I am looking forward to taking them to Hampton Court and later in November the Houses of Parliament to receive the award.”
