Happy Kidz has been providing top-quality childcare in Humberside since 1996, setting high standards and gaining an excellent reputation for its friendly, educational offering; the nursery is now seen as one of the area’s leading childcare providers, with a safe, caring atmosphere, where both parents and children feel happy and secure.

There are two Happy Kidz sites in Hull, both of which have undergone significant refurbishment and upgrading in recent times – eibe has been delighted to have played a part in both transformations.

Anita Anderson , the Director and Owner of the nurseries first came across the eibe range via a catalogue drop-in scheme, instigated by Sales Manager Mark Gornall. With the aid of various pots of Early Years Capital Grant funding, eibe worked with Anita to achieve her goal of redeveloping every room in both buildings – from the baby and toddler areas to the pre-school rooms and after school clubs – a total cost of some £30,000.

It was an educational imperative that the design process embraced different age groups, from babies to pre-school – not only from a learning perspective, but also creatively, so the choice of imaginative and diversified products was essential.

A plethora of new equipment was chosen from the eibe catalogue; everything from basic storage cupboards for toys and games, through to rugs, sofas and cushions, and finally some of the more creative items such as Dream Caves, Crawling Corners and Role Play kitchen products.

“We have tried to offer Happy Kidz a bespoke range of equipment which not only enhances their setting visually, but also helps all the children in key areas of the EYFS,” commented Sales Manager Mark Gornall. Because of the burgeoning relationship, Happy Kidz have become another eibe reference site and are more than happy to show other interested parties around their modernised nurseries.
