Wood You Believe It?

eibe Play has been busy this summer working with Earl Shilton Town Council on two new parks in the county of Leicestershire.

The first, a £66,000 scheme at Wood Street Park, was installed during a particularly unpleasant spell of weather which led to the abandonment of the official opening – something that disappointed everybody concerned. Here at eibe, we like to see projects through not only to completion, but to help celebrate the event as well by way of a specific launch opening.

Nonetheless, the park is now open and is proving very popular according to Facebook Fans and key stakeholders, including Chairman of Leisure, Parks, Cemetery and Open Spaces (LPCOS) Committee, Councilor Debbie Almey, Town Clerk, Mark Jackson and Office Clerk, Carrianne Houghton.

“Having such a fantastic play area in the town, which is used by so many children, is a great asset to the community.”

The new play area features a host of eibe equipment. Two main units, the Trivor and Hamet ensure all age groups are occupied and the Satellite carousel and Stand-up see saw guarantee fun for all abilities. Other eibe favourites are our ever-popular Terion unit, alongside some Pony rockers, Mushroom seats and a Tango swing.
