The presentation of the 2nd Apple Award for eibe play ltd
Monday June 29th 2009 was another great day for eibe play ltd.
Paul Redden managing Director for eibe UK attended a prestigious ceremony held at Hampton Court Palace, perfect location for the presentation of our Built Environment and Architectural Heritage Awards.
Kate O’Mara our onscreen and stage star presented the award to Paul Redden for ‘Brocks Hill Country Park’ Leicestershire. The development of Brocks Hill Play Space focused on the creation of a large central play mound which incorporated a number of pieces of play equipment on a large piece of unused land within the country park directly next to the visitors centre. Natural play features such as boulders, logs and planting were used to enhance and compliment the transition between the natural environment and the play space and its fun, challenging and exciting play equipment.
