eibe go to the Isle of Wight

eibe play were asked by Gurnard Parish council to design a new play area for the old putting green on the seafront at Gurnard. 

eibe play supported Gurnard’s community consultation where members of the public and local schools took part in choosing their favourite pieces of equipment which would benefit a wide range of different users.

A maritime theme was thought to be appropriate being so close to the sea.

There is range equipment for toddlers including a minimondo seagull boat for smaller adventurers! There is trim trail equipment to test balancing and co-ordination skills.

The play area actively encourages adults to accompany their children’s play experience and interact with the equipment.  A bird’s nest swing is great for relaxing for everyone.

The Pinta Ship was chosen as the centre attraction so that children could get the role play opportunity of sailing on the rough seas and pretending to be pirates.
