Play Builder - Wave 2

Our goal is to help you to complete your Play Builder scheme stage 2 by March 2011

We have created this web space for you to give you as much information as possible on how to get the best out of Fair Play.

Play Builder Facts and Figures

£235m pledged for children’s play to be spent in 3 years
43 Play Builders have been selected in wave 1 and a further 37 will be selected for wave 2
Each Play Builder will be awarded £1.1m and £45k revenue with a minimum of 22 play areas and a spend of £50k per site unless local consultation dictates more needs.
£400k must be spent by March 2010 and £400k by March 2011
The play areas will focus on 8-13 year olds ensuring sites are attractive to ethnic minorities, girls and providing better disabled access.
