Creativity may run wild at this large Pick Board. With the help of the pick pen, 16 coloured strings are guided from one cross-slotted hole to the next. The cross-slotted holes hold the thread tight. Later, the motive can easily be undone.

Placing the cylinders with their different length in such a way into the pinning tray that varying levels become visible is an attractive and challenging task. Also ideal for parlour games.

This game trains the abilities to recognize colours and make patterns with the tablets, but also to perceive area proportions and colour combinations. When crayons and paper are brought into play, children can make their first colour mixing experiments.

They are part of the fundamental materials of Fröbel pedagogics. They stimulate the children to assemble patterns and rhythmic sequences. They are a useful tool in didactic education. Combine them with triangular tablets, Fröbel rings and Fröbel rods to add even more sense and variety to the play.

In addition to the classical exercises with the Fröbel rings, the material shown in the photo can be used even more purposefully thanks to the enclosed semicircles, for example to differentiate between lines and areas.
