The annual Eagle Radio Biz Awards were celebrated on the 20th of April at Great Fosters in Egham. eibe Play joined a wide range of successful local companies from across Surrey & Hampshire to commemorate all that’s good about South East business enterprise.
Renowned pop gurus, Travis, entertained the audience with a selection of hits from down the years as well as unveiling some brand new material, while expert speakers eulogised about those on the awards’ shortlist. The event welcomed independent judges who considered all nominations with the Biz filters of “Learn, Enjoy, Inspire & Give Back” in mind.
eibe, who has its worldwide headquarters in Germany, was thrilled to win the Green Award for Sustainable Development, enhancing our Corporate Social Responsibility ethos. Managing director Paul Redden went up on stage to collect the award, declaring the event a resounding success:
“It is genuinely uplifting to see so many businesses doing well in the local vicinity. I have met some inspiring leaders from all over Surrey and Hampshire today and I’d like to send my personal congratulations to all the winners and runners-up. eibe’s Eagle Radio Green award underpins our achievements in the environmental sphere in recent years and confirms our status as Green World Ambassadors for 2016. Redden was joined at the Awards ceremony by eibe Play’s national sales co-ordinator, Stuart Evans, and marketing executive, Harriet Roper.
