Sit in the lovely garden of Somerset pub on a warm summer’s evening and you may well hear the anthemic sounds of Radiohead’s epic encore at the nearby Glastonbury Festival.
Situated almost within the shadow of the famous Pyramid Stage in the idyllic village of Compton Dundon, is the olde worlde country pub known as The Castlebrook Inn. The village has a population of 705 and the parish includes the hamlet of Littleton.
This summer, General Managers, Dale and Stacey, decided to upgrade their play provision and specified some new equipment to sit in their large, welcoming garden. Adjacent to the play area is a campsite and happy campers get to use the new equipment too!
Like previous Punch Taverns, they installed the ecorino Beta unit alongside a Nest Swing and Frog Rocker at a cost of £15,000. Now little ones can have fun as parents enjoy a refreshing drink and breathe in the beautiful natural surroundings, while sampling the delicious home-cooked food.
