Mr Potato Head Gets a Makeover

"Where imagination meets adventure — eibe Play brings Peppa Pig World to life, again. 🐷🎠 #eibePlay #PaultonsParks"

When Paultons Park — home to the UK's original Peppa Pig World — needed to refresh and revitalise its iconic play spaces, they turned to a trusted partner: eibe Play. Having first collaborated in 2010 on the original Mr Potato Heads Play Area, the two organisations share a long-standing relationship built on creativity, quality, and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional play experiences for children.

In mid-2025, eibe Play was approached to lead a comprehensive revitalisation of three key play areas within the park, delivering new bespoke structures and breathing fresh energy into existing equipment — all in time for the park's seasonal reopening.

After more than a decade of delighting visitors, the original Tree House structure — installed in 2010 — had reached the end of its life. Paultons Park needed a worthy successor: a play structure for children aged 5–8 that would offer a range of challenging and engaging play opportunities, including varied ways to ascend and descend, and multiple fun play points to keep young visitors entertained.

Alongside this, the existing train structure required a complete replacement with something fresh and exciting, and the toddler play structures from the Minimondo range needed updating to maintain their appeal for the park's youngest visitors.

The brief was clear: deliver play spaces that felt new and exciting, while remaining true to the beloved Peppa Pig aesthetic that families know and love.

eibe Play rose to the challenge with a suite of bespoke and thoughtfully designed solutions.

Mr Potato Heads Play Tower
Designed from the ground up as a direct replacement for the original Tree House, the new Mr Potato Heads Play Tower is a standout centrepiece for the play area. Featuring challenging climbing ramps, ladders, and a variety of engaging play points, the structure offers children aged 5–8 a genuinely stimulating physical challenge. Crucially, the tower was designed using the iconic Peppa Pig colour scheme, ensuring it integrates seamlessly with the existing themed environment and feels like a natural part of the world children have come to love.

Mountains and Valleys Train Unit
Replacing the ageing train structure, eibe Play's Mountains and Valleys Train unit brings a whole new dimension of imaginative play to the area. Offering rich opportunities for role play, climbing, and clambering, the unit invites children to explore and create their own adventures — all within a visually engaging and robustly built structure.

Minimondo Toddler Play Structure Revitalisation
Rather than replacing the existing toddler structures entirely, eibe Play revitalised them with the addition of new HPL panels, crossings, and tunnels — giving them a fresh new look and extending their play value for the park's youngest visitors.

All three projects were completed and installed in time for the park's reopening, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum impact for visitors from day one. The new play spaces have enhanced the overall experience of Peppa Pig World, offering children more to explore, more to challenge them, and more reasons to return.

The project has further strengthened the already strong working relationship between eibe Play and Paultons Park — a partnership that has now spanned over 15 years and continues to go from strength to strength.

Looking Ahead

eibe Play looks forward to continuing their valued partnership with Paultons Park, supporting the park's ambition to deliver world-class play experiences that delight children and families for years to come.
