eibe Pushes out the Boat

eibe has been working with the team at Selsey Town Council for a few years on different projects along the south coast

The newest venture, East beach Play Area, celebrates a rich and important piece of local history.

Back in 1838, a Silver Medal was awarded to a certain Lieutenant E B Westbrook RN for saving three men from the sloop, 'Ann'. 23 years later, the first Lifeboat station was established at Selsey. Now fast forward over 150 years to a brand-new lifeboat themed playspace…

Pushing the boat out this time is town clerk, Becki White, who asked eibe to design a new bespoke £30,000 Lifeboat unit to sit in coastal harmony with their other nautical equipment installed over the last decade. The result is a fabulous all-inclusive ramped boat that allows children of all ages and abilities to join in on the action. Brightly coloured and extremely robust, the unit contains a series of educative playboards, musical chimes, climbs and slides.

Our transport themed products are always hugely popular, as not only are they packed with play value, but they also act as a perfect meeting place for social interaction for youngsters who want to hang out and enjoy themselves, as well as burn off a bit of energy.
