Washbrook Children’s Farm rests in an idyllic setting overlooking the beautiful South Downs in the village of Hurstpierpoint in West Sussex. There are a multitude of things to do whatever the weather, particularly since the recent introduction of a stand-out play unit.
Jessica Nelson, Park Manager, has worked with eibe over the last few years to ensure the farm’s playground was maximised in terms of play value and visitor usage. Already in place is a seesaw, alongside some bikes for the kids to ride on. But this forward-thinking attraction is constantly on the look-out to bring in some innovative equipment to entertain the young ones.
Washbrook originally saw the Harvester Play unit (pictured) at the Saltex / PlayFair Exhibition in early autumn and considered it the perfect product to sit atop its newly built sandpit.
The Harvester has a real diverse play offering – everything from sand construction, to the thrill of sliding, as well as challenging climbing elements. It was installed in time for the October half-term and has already had plenty of use.
Jessica has now added a Bounty Ship Stern for another sand area, so it looks like 2015 will be an incredibly busy time for not just the owners, but for the many visitors to the farm as well.
