Two new playspaces will open in Hertfordshire this year courtesy of Three Rivers District Council in conjunction with eibe Play. The new natural areas resulted from a vigorous tender process at the end of 2012 and will be sited at Croxley Green Baldwins Lane and King George V.
The £180,000 combined project will fall in line with the Council’s specific requirements to create natural adventure spaces which combine fixed equipment, as well as landscaping and complementary play features.
The play equipment specified is from eibe’s increasingly popular robinia range and the sites will feature the likes of tubular slides, crawling tunnels, challenging climbing elements and inclusive play opportunities.
Work is due to commence over the next 6-8 weeks; both projects will be completed by the start of June, ready for the busy summer months.
