The Kamet and the Kibo are two appropriately alliterative eibe products that adorn Kidlington Parish Council’s new playground at Exeter Park.
The two units from our affordable ecorino range are the stand out features at the £150,000 playspace in Oxfordshire. Working alongside the council’s clerk, Rachel Faulkner, eibe were the winners of a tender process at the beginning of the year.
In near Mediterranean conditions, the installers worked through intense heat to have the playground ready for the school holidays. The area is brightly coloured, welcoming and hots a variety of great equipment that will entertain children of different abilities.
Adjacent to our new ecorino units stand a Sand Play Area, Trim Trail Section, a Fun Cableway and a DDA Roundabout. As a popular tourist destination anyway, Exeter is sure to be extra busty this summer.
Rachel was most complimentary about the eibe team:
“We were really impressed with the team – they really pulled out all the stops to get it up and running. The event on Saturday went better than we could possibly have hoped and local residents love the park – we’re basking in the compliments – which is rare when you work for a council.”
