Before Father Christmas was even half way down the chimney; eibe Play delivered its very own present in the shape of a rejuvenated Play Park for the fine folk of Bournemouth.
The £20,000 Littledown refurbishment has given the whole area a refreshing overhaul and has already proved incredibly popular according to Bournemouth Parks’ Senior Landscape Architect, Tracey Scholefield who confirmed, “The playground has been well used over the Christmas holidays.”
The playground upgrade included the following eibe products: a playo Winni unit, a modified playo Sam unit, a Satellite Carousel and Sessaw.
Councillor Pat Oakley, Cabinet Member for Tourism, Leisure and the Arts said, “The improvements being made to the Littledown Play Park will continue to make it an exciting place for families with young children to visit.
Mike Lyons, BH Live’s Director of Sport and Leisure commented “Littledown Park is a terrific green space for the local community to play, enjoy great events, outdoor sports and be active. It is a much-cherished community asset and we are really excited to see the new play facilities.”
