Platt du Jour

And Today’s Special is…

Stonehouse Field Play Area near Sevenoaks in Kent was the brainchild of a dedicated and resolute committee of local mums determined to have a more modern recreational park for their children.

It was campaigner Rachel Lupton who first emailed eibe Play with some ideas for renovating the existing playground. Meetings were arranged alongside Jackie Davies, clerk at Platt Parish Council and gradually things were put in motion.

The first phase of the £70,000 project was completed in mid-July and features a Beginners Walk Trim Trail, robinia Nest Swing, Toadstools, Chimes, Duck Rocker and DDA Roundabout.

The second helping (coming in the second week of August) will have a host of fabulous robinia products, including a Winja, Spider and Wira with Slide, as well as a Crawling mound and tunnel. Grass Matting and Wet pour completes the look!

I wonder what dessert will be…
