Working in conjunction with a company whose roots date back nearly as far as our own, was always going to be an enjoyable venture for the eibe team. Trading tales of life in the 17th Century and learning all about their family history through the centuries has been an educative and enjoyable experience for everyone involved with the project.
Tates Garden Centre is now a flourishing enterprise near the Sussex coast. With three separate centres in Brighton, Newhaven and Portslade, the Tate Bros will celebrate their own centenary in 2019.
Our relationship with Tates originated from an informal meeting at PlayFair / Saltex 2014. The client visited our stand and immediately identified the minimondo Rose play unit as the ideal solution for their attraction needs. Aimed at children up the age of four years old, this delightful piece of equipment will entertain youngsters during a family trip to the garden centre.
The small play area was installed as part of a fantastic new coffee shop facility broadening the hospitality of the centre even further. Artificial grass, supplied by the client, complements the zone perfectly, as summed up by Coffee Shop Manager Paul Mead:
“We are delighted with the quality of our play equipment from eibe, and feel that this will be a great addition to our new coffee shop. The design and delivery process all went very smoothly”.
