When a freak storm upended a tree at Lullingstone Country Park near Dartford, Park Ranger, Freya Prince, needed the problem sorting quickly.
The culprit was one of the many stunning inhabitants at the much-loved attraction – indeed; there are 300 veteran oak, beech, ash, hornbeam and sweet chestnut trees that adorn Lullingstone’s natural scenery.
As pictured, some of the popular play units were crushed (thankfully with nobody hurt) and replacements were needed as soon as possible. Up stepped eibe’s Stuart Evans and a new unique Sofia unit was ordered alongside a Duck Spring Rocker. For the sum of £15,000, the playspace was up and running in no time at all.
