Utilising existing landscaping and natural features to enhance a playspace is something that eibe Play has a unique eye for. A prime example is the recently opened, fun-filled playground at Ashley Drive in Buckinghamshire courtesy of Chepping Wycombe Parish Council.
Starting in late November 2015, the £43,000 project had to overcome severe weather disruptions, but still opened in early 2016 thanks to some hardy work by our regular installers.
From the very outset, our designs included using the current mound to provide a wonderfully high and adrenalin-packed trim trail for older children to replace the old and out-dated zip wire. We also incorporated a double width slide and tunnel, thus cramming a great deal of play value in to a relatively small amount of space.
As a direct result of our innovative design, ideas and customer service, local play consultant Greg Chick has been asked by the council’s Wendy Thompson to quote on a neighbouring scheme.
“We are extremely pleased with the recent installation. The weather has been particularly inclement however the installer achieved a miracle. We have received a lot of positive feedback from residents in the area," commented Wendy.
“Greg has been great – the level of contact has been superb. He is incredibly enthusiastic and this in turn has rubbed off on the Council. It’s been a pleasure working with him.”
