Mesmerising seaside-inspired play area

In a thrilling collaboration with eibe Play, the vibrant Bude Stratton Town Council spearheaded the enchanting creation of a toddler play paradise. Following extensive public engagements, an immersive design was painstakingly crafted to interweave the town's rich history, ensuring an inclusive and magical play arena for both locals and visitors at this coveted holiday retreat.

At its core, the spellbinding Mountains and Valleys Train materialised, faithfully replicating the beloved coastal train line etched in the memories of the community. Bursting with a plethora of play ventures and exhilarating challenges, this train not only stole the spotlight as the centrepiece but also included a whimsical train station-themed play panel.

Making use of the resources excavated during the project, our ingenious team sculpted a mesmerising seaside-inspired wet pour motif and an intricate railway track, promising year-round access to this enchanting play haven. Within this enchanting domain, a double-wide slide beckoned daredevils, while quirky play boxes offered cosy nooks for exploration. A dual swing unit, complete with a snug toddler swing and a delightful me-and-you swing, further invited parents and caregivers to swing alongside their little ones. To top it off, two thematic spring rockers were thoughtfully integrated, adding an extra dash of whimsy to the ensemble.

Both eibe Play and the Town Council rejoiced in the spectacular outcome—a riot of colours and excitement—an all-encompassing, welcoming playground for the young cherubs, artfully complementing the existing junior play area. Greeted with open arms by residents and tourists alike, this innovative installation witnessed a deluge of joyous users during the bustling first half-term holidays, solidifying its status as a beloved community gem.
