Our newest, at the Talltrees Community Centre in Somerset, welcomes Service families based in Ilchester and the surrounding area to enjoy a range of play facilities, events and activities.
The neighbouring Royal Naval Air Station (RNAS) in Yeovilton is home to the Royal Navy Wildcat HMA2 and Army Air Corps Wildcat AH1 helicopters, the site consists of 1,000 acres and operates over 100 aircraft. It is manned by around 1675 service and 2000 civilian personnel.
Back in 2018, Community Centre Manager, Gill Duke, contacted us regarding the upgrading of their play facilities. Working on a £50,000 budget, the eibe design team got to work and the result of a years’ worth of planning and specifying finally came to fruition in the summer of 2019.
eibe’s flagship product, the Pinta Ship, is the stand-out centrepiece of the park, surrounded by a Nest Swing and other swings, a Plane Rocker and Stand-up Seesaw. The play area was installed on to bonded mulch and is all ready to play on!
